PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a new peritoneal deterioration inhibitor, a peritoneal dialytic fluid and a method for peritoneal dialysis, inhibiting peritoneal deterioration using a rare saccharide. SOLUTION : The peritoneal deterioration inhibitor characterized by containing a rare saccharide is provided, wherein the rare saccharide is selected from the group consisting of d-psicose, L-psicose, D-allose, L-sorbose, D-fructose, L-tagatose, D-sorbose, L-fructose and D-tagatose. This peritoneal deterioration inhibitor is characterized by containing, in addition, glucose. This inhibitor is to be used by compounding in a peritoneal dialytic fluid. The peritoneal dialytic fluid is characterized by containing the above inhibitor. This peritoneal dialytic fluid is characterized by containing, in addition, glucose and an electrolyte.
