The present invention relates to submicronic particles usable in therapeutic or diagnostic acts, characterized in that : - they have a size ranging between 1 and 800 Nm, - they include/understand at least 30%, preferably at least 50%, preferably still at least 90%, in mass of at least an oxide and/or a oxohydroxyde of at least a rare earth, - the whole of rare earths are responsible for a specific radioactive activity from at least 0, 5 MBq per gram of particles, due to a disintegration elements rare earth, at least 10% of these disintegrations producing an emission of beta radiations, as well as injectable pharmaceutical compositions of these particles, their use for manufacture of a drug intended for the treatment and/or the prevention of tumoral diseases of proliferative diseases, and their process of preparation.
