PURPOSE : A device for treating sand in a setting tank is provided to recycle the earth and the sand accumulated in the settling tank after drying and washing the earth and the sand, and to reduce treatment cost of the earth and the sand. CONSTITUTION : A device for treating sand in a setting tank includes a sludge storage tank(10), a washing drum(20), a transfer conveyor(30), a ventilation drier(40), and a compressed roll box(50). The sludge storage tank stores the accumulated earth and sand. The washing drum washes the earth and sand transferred from the sludge storage tank with water. The transfer conveyor transfers the washed earth and sand through the washing drum. The ventilation drier is installed at the transfer conveyor. The compressed roll box stores the transferred earth and sand. The washing drum includes a screen drum, a driving motor, and a drum case. The driving motor rotates the screen drum.
