PURPOSE : A synthesis method of a resin is provided to perform convenient separation and purification process, to easily separate multicomponent rare earth elements at high purity, and to improve productivity.CONSTITUTION : A synthesis method of a resin for extraction and separation of rare earth elements comprises the steps of : adding bisethylhexylphosphonic acid 7.1 weight%% which is an extractor of rare earth elements, toluene 14.1 weight%% and n-heptap 4.7 weight%% which are a pore-forming agent, and polyvinylalcohol 0.5 weight%% which is a stabilizer in a mixture, wherein the mixture comprises distilled water 52.7 weight%%, styrene 10.4 weight%%, and divinylbenzene 10.4 weight%% with content 55%%; and adding benzoyl peroxide 0.2 weight%% which is an initiator periodically in the mixture to prepare a copolymer.© KIPO 2009
