PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a sintered magnet, having a heavy rare earth segregation layer segregated in a layer shape to a center of a NdFeB magnet, and to reduce the amount used of heavy rare earth elements. SOLUTION : By having fa luoride compound solution containing the heavy rare earth elements vacuum-immersed in a compression compact in magnetic field of magnetic powder, and then dried and sintered, the heavy rare earth segregation layer can be manufactured in the magnet, regardless of the thickness of the magnet. Consequently, the amount used of heavy rare earth can be reduced. As a result, high coercive force, high magnetic flux density, high specific resistance, and the like, can be satisfied. Thus, the magnet can be used for a magnetic circuit of high heat resistance and low loss (high efficiency). COPYRIGHT : (C)2009, JPO&INPIT
