PURPOSE : A method and a system for restoring soil, or earth and sand contaminated by oil and heavy metals are provided to improve purifying efficiency and washing efficiency, and to prevent generation of a secondary pollution source.CONSTITUTION : A system for restoring soil, or earth and sand contaminated by oil and heavy metals includes a first and a second hopper reservoirs(10-1, 10-2), a metering part(10a), a first and a second transfer conveyors(11, 12), a screen tank(20), a third and a fourth transfer conveyors(21, 22), a crusher(23), a polluted soil storage(30), a water tank(31), a flowmeter(31a), a contaminant warming tank(40), a contaminant separating tank(50), a sprinkling screen tank(60), and a sieve(70). The flowmeter is installed at a lower part of the first and the second hopper reservoirs. The flowmeter is installed in the contaminant warming tank or the contaminant separating tank. Corpuscular powder discharged from the sprinkling screen tank is sent to the sieve and recollected into minute reconstituted soil.© KIPO 2009
