PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a packaging material for a lithium battery which is superior in electrolytic solution resistance, hydrofluoric acid resistance, and water resistance even without applying heat treatment, and which has excellent molderability.
SOLUTION : The packaging material 10 for the lithium battery is obtained by sequentially laminating an adhesive layer 12, an aluminum foil layer 13, a coating layer 14, an adhesive resin layer 15, and a sealant layer 16 on one surface of the base material layer 11. The coating layer 14 contains rare earth element-based oxide sol, the static friction coefficient ratio (S : μs-B)/(S : μs-M) of the sealant layer 16 is 1-3 while the dynamic friction coefficient ratio (S : μk-B)/(S : μk-M) is 1-3, and the static friction coefficient ratio (O : μs-B)/(O : μs-M) of the base material layer 11 is 1-3, while the dynamic friction coefficient ratio (O : μk-B)/(O : μk-M) is 1-3.
