PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an anisotropic rare earth bonded magnet, and also to provide an efficient and small-sized permanent magnet motor using the same. SOLUTION : The use of a binder with a molding method regarded as one of the three major technologies in manufacturing a bonded magnet is checked on again. A new method of manufacturing a bonded magnet uses rare earth magnet fine powder of several micrometers and an unsaturated polyester resin composition in cooperation with heated compression and impregnation.
