PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fuse capable of further shortening a required time from start of flowing of a rare current to the blowout of the fuse element, especially in a rare region. SOLUTION : The fuse 1 is provided with a housing 9, a pair of terminals 7, and a fuse element 8. The pair of terminals 7 are mutually arranged in parallel and are connected to a bus bar respectively. The fuse element 8 is provided with a fuse element body 13 and a low melting-point metal block 14. The fuse element body 13 has a connecting part 15 and an installation part 16, the connecting part 15 is formed in a belt-shape of which the both ends are connected to the pair of terminals 7. The installation part 16 has a bottom plate part and a caulking member. The bottom plate part extends at the outside of the center part of the connecting part 15. The caulking member caulks the low melting-point metal block 14 and installs the low-melting point metal block 14 to the bottom plate part, that is, the installation part 16.
