PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide magnetic powder which suppresses hysteresis loss caused by compression residual strain in a soft magnetic powder while suppressing eddy current loss across a wide frequency band. SOLUTION : Magnetic powder 10 consists of powder 11 whose main component is iron element having an insulating coat 12 formed on its surface. The powder 11 is globular powder or that whose surface is flattened. The insulating coat 12 is magnetic powder coated by rare earth fluoride, alkali metal fluoride, or alkali earth metal fluoride.
