PURPOSE : A photoluminescent paint composition is provided to realize a safety guide display member in an indoor environment regardless of interruption of electric power, and to impart far infrared ray- and anion-emitting, deodorizing and antibacterial effects. CONSTITUTION : A photoluminescent paint composition comprises : 100 parts by weight of a transparent resin; 10-40 parts by weight of a photoluminescent pigment comprising an alumina component of an alkaline earth metal doped with a rare earth metal element; 5-10 parts by weight of illite; and 5-10 parts by weight of bamboo tree vinegar. The rare earth metal element is europium(Eu), gadolinium(Gd), dysprosium(Dy), terbium(Tb) or ytterbium(yb). © KIPO 2008
