PURPOSE : A clean water feeder for a tire washer is provided to supply clean water into a water tank used in cleaning of tires by settling alien substances such as earth and sand contained in water removed from a sludge dewaterer for the tire washer, thereby producing clean water. CONSTITUTION : A clean water feeder for a tire washer comprises : a settling tank(320) for settling sludge containing alien substances such as earth and sand in sludge and cleaning water containing alien substances such as earth and sand generated when washing tires; a pipe, hose(180), discharge valve, or mechanical device for removing and cleaning sludge settled on the settling tank; a nonwoven fabric, membrane, or mesh(110) for filtering water by free falling, the sludge containing alien substances such as earth and sand in the settling tank being not filtered by the nonwoven fabric, membrane, or mesh; a second settling tank for settling again the sludge containing alien substances such as earth and sand in water that has passed through the nonwoven fabric, membrane, or mesh; a nonwoven fabric, membrane, or mesh(110) for filtering water by free falling, the sludge containing alien substances such as earth and sand in the second settling tank being not filtered by the nonwoven fabric, membrane, or mesh; and a clean water supply tank(340) into which water passing through the nonwoven fabric, membrane, or mesh is collected, and which supplies clean water during washing of the tires. © KIPO 2008
