Dry cement formulation for cementing holes in the earth, preferably oil-, gas- and/or natural heat of the earth holes, comprises (a) 20-99.9 wt.% of cement, (b) 0-65 wt.% of quartz powder and/or quartz dust, (c) 0.1-30 wt.% of dispersion powder redispersible in water and (d) 0-20 wt.% of further additives.
