PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for efficiently removing dissolved boron from water to be treated and a boron removing agent used for the same. SOLUTION : The dissolved boron is settled and separated as a hardly soluble substance by allowing a polyvalent anionic substance and rare earth element ions to exist in the dissolved boron-containing water to be treated, then adjusting its pH to 9 to 13.
