PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of a rare earth bond magnet capable of increasing the content of rare earth magnetic powder in fixed volume. SOLUTION : The manufacturing method has a process for compressing a raw material, containing resin and the rare earth magnetic powder made of flat particles, for formation. In the process, cracks are generated at least in one portion of the particles composing the rare earth magnetic powder, thus generating flat particles smaller than the particles.
