PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide powder for high-resistance rare earth magnet where the deterioration of magnetic character is minimized, and provide a manufacturing method of the powder, a rare earth magnet, a method for manufacturing the rare earth magnet, a rotor for a motor using the rare earth magnet, and the motor using the same. SOLUTION : In the powder for high resistant rare earth magnet, at least a part of the surface of rare earth magnet particles is coated with a compound containing at least one kind of rare earth oxides as terbium (Tb), dysprosium (Dy), holmium (Ho), erbium (Er), thorium (Tm), ytterbium (Yb) and lutetium (Lu), and a metal compound containing at least on kind of Al2O3, SiO2, silicon nitride, TiO2, ZnO and ZrO2.
