PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric porcelain in which the temperature characteristics of permittivity have been improved while keeping the electric field induced distortion at a low level, and to provide a method for producing the same and a laminated ceramic capacitor using the same. SOLUTION : The main component of the dielectric porcelain is represented by the formula : BaTi(1-x)ZrxO3+aRe+bM, wherein Re represents an oxide of at least one rare earth element selected from the group consisting of La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, and Y; and M represents an oxide of at least one metal element selected from the group consisting of Mg, Al, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, and V. In the formula, the following relations are established : 1.000≤Ba/Ti≤1.450, 5≤100x≤30, 0.02≤a≤0.18, and 0.02≤b≤0.18. A Si element-containing compound is contained in an amount as defined below, based on 100 parts by mass of the main component : 0.2 pt.mass≤Si element-containing compound≤5.0 pts.mass.
