PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To stably and easily manufacture an Nd2Fe14B-based sintered magnet which has both high residual magnetic flux density and coercive force. SOLUTION : Disclosed is a manufacturing method of a rare earth sintered magnet which includes a sintering process of obtaining a sintered magnet consisting of 28 to 32% by mass of R, 0.8 to 1.2% by mass of B, and Fe for the rest by sintering a compact, the manufacturing method being characterized in that when pulverized powder obtained by pulverizing raw material alloy is called as a raw material, at least one kind among oxygen-rich raw materials manufactured so that an oxygen content is relatively large and 1, 200 to 5, 000 ppm (mass ratio) and at least one kind among oxygen-poor raw materials manufactured so that an oxygen content is relatively small and ≥1, 000 ppm (mass ratio) less than that of the oxygen-rich raw material and different in composition excluding the oxygen content from the oxygen-rich raw material are mixed before a forming stage.
