A display device comprising at least one phosphor layer, the phosphor layer containing a green phosphor represented by the following formula : (A1-xBx) (Zn1-yMny) Al10O17 wherein, A is an element selected from Ca, Ba and Sr, B is a rare-earth element, x is a number satisfying 0.0001≦x≦0.1, and y is a number satisfying 0.02≦y≦0.14.
