PURPOSE : A phosphor for white light-emitting diodes is provided to obtain a unitary phosphor composition emitting the very stable white light, which has the improved color rendering index and can be used as the fluorescent material layer in the white light-emitting diode apparatus.CONSTITUTION : A phosphor for white light-emitting diodes comprises hollow borate activated by the rare-earth ion and is represented by the formula : (M1-m-nCemEun)2BO3X.
