The structural useful model relates to metallurgy of rare metals and relates to the design of electrolyzer for electrolytic production of hafnium from salt melts on the solid cathode. -The proposed utility model is creation corrosion protection of cathode and cathode product from action of aggressive medium anode gases and atmosphere air, and also simplification units removing cathode with cathode sediment from electrolyzer body. For solution of presented problem electrolyzer for production of hafnium from molten salts consists of forming working chamber sealed water-cooled housing, two anodes, be ameliorated in working chamber, of cathode, located between anodes with possibility of its vertical movement along central axis of working chamber, receiver for cathode deposit, feeder salts and branch pipes for supply of inert gas and removal of anode gases, characterized in that cathode is made water-cooled, is mounted on the casing water-cooled plate, having space, in which is receiver for cathode deposit, made in the form of bucket with replaceable izlozhnitsei , and mounted with the possibility of horizontal displacement inside the cavity plate, above plate cavity along central axis is installed, inside of which is mounted with possibility of vertical moving rod with a knife for cutting cathode deposit, on which is fixed protective cap, inside of which there is movement mechanism of cathode and rod with the knife. 3 3. u. 2 cl, 2 dwg.
