PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth alloy cast sheet with a uniform thickness, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION : In the rare earth alloy cast sheet in which the average value of the sheet thickness is D, and the dispersion value of the sheet thickness is σ2, the average value D lies in the range of 0.1 to 1.0 mm, the thickness of at least 80% of the rare earth alloy cast sheet lies in the range of [D-0.1 mm, D+0.1 mm], and σ2≤0.015 mm2is satisfied. The rare earth alloy has an R-(Fe, M)-B based composition composed of : R as one or more selected from 17 types of rare earth elements including Sc and Y; M as one or more selected from Al, Ga, In, C, N, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb, Mg and Ca, which is transition elements other than Fe; and B as boron, where the R content is 26.0 to 50.0 wt.%, the M content is 0 to 10.0 wt.% and the B content is 0 to 1.5 wt.%, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
