PURPOSE : An extracorporeal circulation type bioartificial liver system is provided to improve the survival rate of the interstitial cells by operating the through-flow system.CONSTITUTION : An extracorporeal circulation type bioartificial liver system comprises : a plasma separator(1) for separating the plasma from the blood; a temperature controller(2) controlling the temperature of the solution included in the plasma and the separated plasma; a gas supplier(3) for supplying oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide to the blood plasma; a pH measuring device(4) measuring the pH of the plasma; a culture container(6) equipped with a bioreactor(5) in which the interstitial cell is contained; a bubble removal unit(7) removing the bubble of the plasma in perfusion; and a plurality of pumps(8) for re-injection.© KIPO 2009
