PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a dielectric ceramics capable of reducing dislocation causing squeaking, and to obtain a monolithic ceramics capacitor capable of reducing the generation of squeaking. SOLUTION : The dielectric ceramics comprises a solid solution expressed by Ba-Ti-Zr-Re-Me-O3(Re denotes at least one kind of metal element selected from among La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu and Y; Me denotes a metal element(s) selected from among Mg, Cr and Mn; and Zr denotes an optional component(s)) and SiO2, wherein when Ti : Zr is 100 : 0 to 80 : 20 and Ti+Zr is 100 mol, Ba is 97 to 103 mol, Re is 2 to 18 mol, Me is 2 to 18 mol, and SiO2is 0.5 to 10 mol.
