PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a recycling method for a cyclic olefin based resin in which since thermal history is less, deterioration is less and a pellet and a re-molded body excellent in transparency can be obtained even in a regeneration article. SOLUTION : In the recycling method for the cyclic olefin based resin, the cyclic olefin based resin molded body is melted/kneaded with an antioxidant having a melting point of 100°C or higher and the obtained resin composition is re-molded.
