PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a separation method of a minor actinoid not using an organic solvent, having little secondary radioactive waste, capable of processing a large amount thereof. SOLUTION : In this separation method of the minor actinoid for separating the minor actinoid from a mixture, wherein the minor actinoid and a rare earth element coexist together by a capillary electrophoretic method using aqueous solution containing thiocyanic acid ions as an electrophoretic medium; the mixture is added to the electrophoretic medium; and while fluidizing the electrophoretic medium in a capillary from the cathode side toward the anode side, the minor actinoid and the rare earth element are electrophoresed; and when assuming that fluidizing speed of the electrophoretic medium is v1, electrophoretic speed of the minor actinoid is v2; and electrophoretic speed of the rare earth element is v3, the fluidizing speed v1 is adjusted so as to satisfy the relation : v1
