PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a cell culture container and a culture method, which enable closed mass culture without extinction of a cultured cell. SOLUTION : The cell culture container includes a container body having a container having an innermost layer of a cyclic polyolefin-based polymer layer. Preferably, the cell culture container is obtained by filling the container with a medium in advance. The cell culture method includes a step of seeding a rare cell in the container by using the cell culture container, and a step of culturing the cell. Especially, marked result is exhibited, when the initial seeding concentration of the cells is 1.0×104 cells/ml or lower. COPYRIGHT : (C)2009, JPO&INPIT
