PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing aromatic bis-anilines, capable of preparing the aromatic bis-anilines containing a slight amount of metal ions, only by adding a substantially filtering process on the way of a reaction operation. SOLUTION : This method for producing the aromatic bis-aniline by condensing an aromatic ketone with aniline in the presence of an acid catalyst is characterized by making alkaline the reaction liquid of the reaction materials after the above reaction by using an aqueous solution of an alkali metal oxide, discharging aqueous phase, filtering organic phase, washing the organic phase with pure water and then purifying by a re-crystallization operation.
