The present invention relates to an organic electroluminescent device containing a hole injection layer and an electron injection layer having a zero-valent metal, and a manufacturing method thereof. In particular, the present invention relates to an organic electroluminescent device containing an anode layer, one or more electron transport layer, one or more electron injection layer, a cathode layer, and an emission layer. The emission layer is arranged between the anode layer and the cathode layer, and at least first electron transport layer and first electron injection layer are arranged between the emission layer and the cathode layer. The electron injection layer is arranged to come into a direct contact with the first electron transport layer, and the first electron transport layer is arranged closer to the anode layer. The electron injection layer is arranged closer to the cathode layer. The at least first electron transport layer contains organic phosphine matrix compounds and a first zero-valent alkaline metal. The electron injection layer contains a second zero-valent metal of alkaline earth metals and/or rare earth metals, and alkaline metal halide.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
