PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fuel injection device of a liquefied gas engine including an internal pressure increase suppressing mechanism of a high pressure pump cam chamber when an engine stops. SOLUTION : This fuel injection device includes : a high pressure pump 5 constituted to drive a plunger by a cam stored in a cam chamber 5b, thereby raising the pressure of fuel gas and delivering the fuel gas to an injector; a re-liquefying pump 9 for pressurizing the fuel gas leaking to the cam chamber 5b through a gap between the plunger and its peripheral sliding wall; a valve passage 20 communicating to the cam chamber 5b to be opened when cam chamber internal pressure reaches predetermined pressure or higher; a recovery tank 21 for recovering fuel gas from the cam chamber 5b through the opened valve passage 20; and a delivery passage 22 for delivering the fuel gas recovered in the recovery tank to the re-liquefying pump 9.
