PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare-earth magnet having a protective layer that ensures sufficient corrosion resistivity even though it is thin. SOLUTION : A rare-earth magnet 1 has a magnet element 2 containing a rare-earth element and a protective layer 4 formed on the surface of the magnet element 2, wherein the protective layer 4 is formed of an aluminum phosphate condensed film.
