PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To improve color rendering properties by improving characteristics of a green phosphor in a method of manufacturing a white light emitting lamp for lighting which uses a BGR phosphor and a semiconductor light emitting element. SOLUTION : The white light emitting lamp 1 has a phosphor layer 5 which is excited with light emitted by the semiconductor light emitting element 2 to emit white light. After a transparent resin layer 4 is formed, the phosphor layer is formed. The phosphor layer 5 contains a rare earth borate phosphor activated with trivalent cerium and terbium as the green phosphor. COPYRIGHT : (C)2009, JPO&INPIT
