PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare-earth sintered magnet in which the amount of a rare-earth element (Nd or Pr as a typical example) constituting a nonmagnetic phase in a grain-boundary phase is reduced and which has excellent magnetic properties and reliability on corrosion resistance and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION : A sintered compact is produced using a first rare-earth alloy powder represented by (R1)2T14Q (wherein, R1 is at least one element selected from the group of rare-earth elements including Sc and Y; T is Fe or a mixture of Fe and at least one element among transition-metal elements excluding Fe; and Q is boron or a mixture of boron and carbon) and a second rare-earth alloy powder represented by (R2)xT100-x(wherein, R2 is at least one element which is selected from the group of rare-earth elements including Sc and Y and necessarily includes at least either of Sc and Y; T is Fe or a mixture of Fe and at least one element among transition-metal elements excluding Fe; and x (mass%) satisfies the relation of 0COPYRIGHT : (C)2004, JPO
