PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rotor of a driving motor, in which mechanical coupling strength between a rotor core, a magnetic pole core piece and a rare-earth permanent magnet is increased when the rotor is molded with a synthetic resin in consideration with a conventional problem.
SOLUTION : This rotor is formed so that a rotor core, a magnetic pole core piece and a rare-earth permanent magnet are integrally molded by resin molding. In this rotor, in order to increase the mechanical strength by connection between the rotor core having weak mechanical strength and the synthetic resin, protrusion portions not contacting an end face of the rare-earth permanent magnet are provided between poles of the rotor core and the shape of each of the protrusions portion is formed to be larger in dimension in its tip portion than in its root portion toward the outer periphery in a radius direction, thereby firmly coupling the protrusion portions and the synthetic resin in a coming-off stopping direction for a centrifugal force when the rotor is molded with the synthetic resin. Thus, the rotor of a driving motor in which the mechanical strength is improved by integrally molding between the rotor core the magnetic pole core piece, and the rare-earth permanent magnet is provided.
