PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a CaO-SrO-Li2O-Re2O3-TiO2-ZrO2-based dielectric ceramic having excellent sintered compact characteristics and being obtained by the combustion synthesis method and its producing method. SOLUTION : The CaO-SrO-Li2O-Re2O3-TiO2-ZrO2-based dielectric ceramic (wherein, Re is a rare earth element) is obtained by blending respective reaction raw material powders comprising a Ti powder having a specific surface area of 0.01-2 m2/g, an ionically bonding material as an oxygen supply source, CaCO3, SrCO3, Li2CO3, Re2O3 and ZrO2 at a specified ratio and by performing the combustion synthesis method at an adiabatic flame temperature of 1, 500°C or higher.
