PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide alumina matter corrosion-resisting material that has high corrosion resistance against halogen corrosive gas, the halogen gas plasma or ionic shocks and resists the occurrence of particles by largely increasing the corrosion resistance in the grain boundary phase and removing the residual stress. SOLUTION : This corrosion-resistant material mainly comprises alumina and includes 0.01-0.5 mol.% of rare earth elements calculated as their oxide, additionally <=0.1 mol.% of metallic elements other than Al and the rare earth elements and the formulation is sintered to give the objective anticorrosive material.
