PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a gene modification apparatus having superior economy, safety and operability, eliminating almost any possibility of side effect, and suitably cutting genes such as a cancer cell. SOLUTION : This gene modification apparatus is provided with an inlet 41x for introducing an ultrashort pulse laser P, a fine pore 41z formed by sealing vacuum or rare gas and accelerating electrons by the ultrashort pulse laser P introduced from the inlet 41x, and an outlet 41y emitting electronic beam Q1 accelerated by the fine pore 41z to a gene Ma for cutting the gene Ma of a subject.
