PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electrode superior in electrode performance such as current collection capability, a solid electrolyte fuel battery cell equipped with the electrode, and a solid electrolyte fuel cell stack. SOLUTION : The electrode is used for a solid electrolyte fuel battery cell and formed on a substrate and has a pillar-shape crystal consisting of a perovskite type oxide as expressed by (A1-xBx)yMO3+δ. At least a part of the pillar-shape crystal is formed inclined against the substrate (provided that A is a rare earth element, B is alkali rare earth metal, 0≤x≤1, 0.9≤y≤1.1, M is at least one kind out of Mn, Fe, and Co). Since at least a part of the pillar-shape crystal is formed inclined against the substrate, contact of the pillar-shape crystal themselves is good, and electrical conductivity in lateral direction (parallel direction against the substrate surface) becomes high. Thereby, three-phase interface contributing to power generation can be utilized greatly, and power generation amount is increased. COPYRIGHT : (C)2007, JPO&INPIT
