PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a lightweight and high strength sintering tool of rare earth permanent magnet in which seizure of a sintered body can be suppressed.
SOLUTION : In the sintering tool 1 of a rare earth permanent magnet for mounting the molding 4 of the rare earth permanent magnet when it is sintered, spreading powder 3 for sintering is adhering to the molding mounting surface of a tool body 2 composed of a carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite material. The spreading powder 3 for sintering is preferably a rare earth oxide, and more preferably it is yttrium oxide powder. The rare earth permanent magnet is a neodymium iron boron system magnet, for example. The tool body 2 is planar. An oxide coating is formed on the mounting surface of the tool body 2.
