PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a compressed bond magnet with a case, which can realize a high magnetic property, a high corrosion resistance, and a high endurance strength while it is low in cost.SOLUTION : A compressed bond magnet 1 with a case comprises : a compressed bond magnet 2 including rare earth magnet powder such as isotropic Nd-Fe-B magnet powder, and a resin binder comprising a thermosetting resin; a case 3 in which the compressed bond magnet 2 is inserted; and a sealing member 4. The compressed bond magnet 2 is formed by molding a mixture including rare earth magnet powder and the resin binder in a compression manner into a powder compact and hardening the resin binder in the powder compact. The rare earth magnet powder is included in the compressed bond magnet at a large content (e.g. 85-90% in volume percentage). The sealing member 4 is fixed to an insertion opening 3a of the case 3, and the compressed bond magnet 2 is hermetically sealed by the sealing member 4 and the case 3.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1
