PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To stabilize the amount of packed earth and sand in a bagging and dewatering method for packing water-containing earth and sand of mud, especially of mud comprising cohesive soil or silt in a water-permeable bag body to perform dewatering. SOLUTION : In this method, when the water-containing earth and sand of mud etc. is packed in the water-permeable bag body 9 by a packing pump 8P, and the moisture of the content in the bag body 9 is made to permeate outside the bag body 9 to be dewatered, a weight measuring process for measuring the weight of the water-containing earth and sand 1, a water addition process for adding water to the weighed water-containing earth and sand 1 so as to adjust its water content to a prescribed value based on the result of the weight measurement and the known water content of the water-containing earth and sand 1, a weighing process for weighing the water-added water-containing earth and sand, and a packing process for packing the weighed water-containing earth and sand in the bag body are carried out.
