PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To easily manufacture a permanent magnet portion 5 of a thicker wall thickness with high accuracy so that the corresponding position of the permanent magnet portion 5 of a yoke portion 4 does not cause magnetic saturation, such as the case where a rare-earth magnet is employed, in a stator 2 of a rotary electric machine, such as electric motor. SOLUTION : The yoke portion 4 constituting the stator 2 uses powder of a ferromagnetic material, such as iron as its material using resin as a binder, while the permanent magnet portion 5 uses rare-earth permanent magnet powder, of which the main component is a rare-earth element, such as neodymium and samarium as its material with resin as the binder (a rare-earth bonded magnet). Both of these powders are integrally formed by compression molding inside a cavity. In this case, a portion, at which the permanent magnet portion 5 of the yoke portion 4 is formed, is larger in the wall thickness, and consideration is given so that magnetic saturation does not occur.
