PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solution for making titanium-containing multiple oxide easy in the control of a composition, having small environmental load and useful as a dielectric material or the like and a method of manufacturing the same, a method of manufacturing the titanium-containng multiple oxide, a precursor for the titanium-containng multiple oxide, a dielectric material and a method of manufacturing the dielectric material. SOLUTION : The solution for making the titanium-containing multiple oxide is obtained by mixing (1) a titanic acid aqueous solution prepared by mixing titanium alkoxide (e.g. titanium tetra-n-butoxide) and an organic acid (e.g. lactic acid) with water and (2) an organic acid salt of at least one kind of a group II metal element (e.g. barium), a rare earth element (e.g. neodymium), zirconium and lead or the aqueous solution with each other.
