PURPOSE : A gardening fertilizer containing fermented stevia extract and minerals is provided to make plants easily absorb functional minerals, to improve original immunity of the plants and to promote root growth by utilizing the stevia extract after fermentation as a penetration accelerator for the functional minerals. CONSTITUTION : The gardening fertilizer contains stevia extracts and minerals, especially, mineral nano-particles selected from a group consisting of selenium, germanium, organo-calcium, rare earth elements and chitosan. The fertilizer is produced by the steps of : fermenting stevia extracts and aging the fermented product; adding the minerals to the treated product; and passing the mixture through a ceramic ball filter screen. The stevia extracts is obtained by drying stevia leaves and stems, pulverizing the dried leaves and stems, extracting essence from the pulverized product and concentrating the extracted essence. © KIPO 2007
