PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having a low dielectric constant and a high Q-value even in a high frequency band no less than 60 GHz, and to provide a dielectric resonator, a nonradioactive dielectric line and a high frequency wiring board using the same.
SOLUTION : The dielectric ceramic composition comprises a composite oxide of Mg, Al and Si as a main component, the composition thereof in molar ratio being represented by the formula xMgO-yAl2O3-zSiO2 (wherein x=10-40 mol%, y=10-40 mol%, z=20-80 mol% and x+y+z=100 mol% are satisfied), and 0.1-15 pts.wt. in terms of oxides of rare earth elements. The dielectric ceramic composition has MgO-Al2O3 and a crystal phase represented by the general formula : RE2O3-wSiO2 (wherein RE represents a rare earth element; and w represent 1 or 2) and precipitated in the grain boundary of 2MgO-2Al2O3-5SiO2 of a main crystal phase and a glass phase is not precipitated.
