PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a multifunctional enamel composition which exhibits antibacterial, deodorizing and water purifying actions by the emission of negative ions and simultaneous radiation of far-infrared rays and in which these actions are enhanced by a photocatalytic material. SOLUTION : The multifunctional enamel composition is a mixture obtained by adding (1) a mixture of natural mineral powders containing rare elements, (2) a mixture containing the mixture and either one of a tourmaline powder and a far-infrared ray-emitting ceramic powder, (3) a mixture obtained by blending the natural mineral powders containing rare elements and a material having photocatalytic functions, or (4) a mixture obtained by blending the natural mineral powders and either one of the tourmaline powder or the far-infrared ray-emitting ceramic powder, and a material having photocatalytic functions, to an enamel material and blending them.
