PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a multifunctional concrete composition with antibacterial, deodorizing and water-purifying functions by virtue of negative ion release and simultaneous irradiation of far-infrared rays, further enhancing these functions by a photocatalyst material. SOLUTION : This multifunctional concrete composition is constituted by formulating in a concrete material (1) a mixture of natural mineral powder containing rare elements, (2) a mixture of natural mineral powder containing rare elements and either of tourmaline powder and far-infrared rays-releasing ceramic powder, (3) a mixture of natural mineral powder containing rare elements added with a photocatalyst functional material, or (4) a mixture of natural mineral powder containing rare elements and either of tourmaline powder and far-infrared rays-releasing ceramic powder further mixed with a photocatalyst functional material.
