PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To manufacture a rare-earth iron-based anisotropic magnet efficiently.
SOLUTION : After an inert gas atmosphere is generated in a casing 26, energization is made from a DC power source 30, whereby rare-earth iron-based quenching magnetic particle 32 charged to a clearance between rolling rollers 22a and 22b are heated to a temperature which is equal to or larger than plastic deformable temperature and smaller than a melting point, preferably, smaller than a particle growing start temperature. The quenching magnetic particle 32 is formed by the rolling rollers 22a and 22b and plastically deformed. At this time, rolling conditions are designated so that the pressure dropping rate of the quenching magnetic particle 32 becomes at least 20%.
