PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To simplify difficulties of manufacture and to improve a material utilization rate of magnets by adhering the magnets of rare-earth metal in a bowl body which constitutes a rotor of a multipolar permanent magnet generator, and forming the magnets into a rectangular thin strip structure. SOLUTION : The generator includes a stator 2 and the rotor 1 which is coupled rotatably to the stator through a shaft, wherein the stator includes an iron core 7 having a salient-pole structure, and a coil 8 wound around the iron core to output a current. The rotor includes a central portion 3 connected to an external power source, a bowl body 4 which is arranged at an outer peripheral side of the stator, and is connected to the central portion, and a plurality of magnet units 14 which are adhered inside the bowl body, respectively.
