PURPOSE : A polyester conjugated yarn with the excellent shrinkage and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to spin two kinds of polyester polymers by the side by side section type and then to perform the draw and heat-treatment processes by a spin-draw manner. CONSTITUTION : Two different kinds of polyester group polymers are combined by the side-by-side manner through a spin-draw process so that a conjugate yarn is formed. A crimp is formed at the conjugate yarn. When applying the basic load, the crimp rate of the raw yarn itself is 20 to 60%% and each crimp rate measured at the different measuring conditions satisfies the follow specific conditions. The ratio of the filament condition crimp shrinkage after the shrinkage of hot water relating to the basic load condition crimp shrinkage after the shrinkage of hot water is 60 to 90%%. The ratio of a processed yarn condition crimp shrinkage after the shrinkage of hot water relating to the basic load condition crimp shrinkage after the shrinkage of hot water is 60 to 90%%. The ratio of the filament condition crimp shrinkage after the re-shrinkage of dry heat relating to the basic load condition crimp shrinkage after the re-shrinkage of dry heat is 60 to 90%%. The ratio of a processed yarn condition crimp shrinkage after the re-shrinkage of dry heat relating to the basic load condition crimp shrinkage after the re-shrinkage of dry heat is 60 to 90%%. © KIPO 2007
